I remember the 1980s. The American dollar was strong. Interest rates were higher than today. And foreigners were buying up as much of America as they could.
Now the American dollar is weak. Interest rates are low. Why aren't foreigners flooding into America and buying up real estate like they did in the 1980s and 1990s? It must be because the outlook for the American economy is dire. America looks like a bad bet to investors.
