SDN Children's Services - NCOSS

SDN Children?s Services has been educating, caring and supporting children and families since 1905.

We are seeking a Regional Manager to lead the delivery of integrated early childhood services across within the Inner Sydney region. Our ?place-based? organisational structure aims to provide high quality early childhood education and care; strengthen families and communities; and address inequalities faced by children and families. This innovative service model brings together professionals from the disciplines of: early childhood education, social work and allied health work, collaborating with each other, children and families to build a Community of Learners.

You will have:

  • University qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Social Science or another related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to provide collaborative leadership and change management skills
  • Experience in the delivery of strengths-based, family-centred and child-focussed approaches
  • Experience leading teams who work with children and families with complex needs
  • A focus on outcomes and a results orientation
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines relating to the delivery of Early Childhood Education and Care, Disability and Community Welfare services
  • Ability to build constructive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience Managing a number of operational budgets
  • Demonstrated connection with and willingness to advocate for SDN?s vision, values and philosophy
